The time is fast approaching...you are bridging from Daisy Scout to Brownie Girl Scouts! (I am not leaving you...here is my Brownie Try It website with meeting plans for every single badge in the program.)
Many leaders decide to bridge in the spring and take the summer off, or at least only meet informally with trips to the park or the library. Having a bridging ceremony and celebration are the perfect way to end the year.

One decision leaders need to make is whether or not to give the girls a bridging gift. The present does not need to be expensive...it only has to be meaningful and thoughtful. Discuss this with your co-leader and decide what you want to spend together. Your gifts should not come from troop funds, but from your own pocketbooks.
Below are some cute and inexpensive Daisy to Brownie bridging gift ideas for you.
Cellophane Bags
These are adorable and inexpensive rainbow themed bags to place your gift in. They come in multi-packs of 20.
What to Put in the Bags
Here is the fun part! Based upon your budget, you can figure out what to fill in them. To bulk them up a bit, you can place green tissue paper or green foil tinsel at the bottom to make them look even jazzier.
